In a time-starved world, APA continuously endeavors to support its members by researching areas of interest.
Endorsements. APA seeks out vendors which have services or products of interest to its members. Further, research and member acceptance can lead to a select group of vendors serving as sponsors. Sponsors help maintain the financial health of the association and help to further its goals.
Warrants. APA seeks to assure the vitality of its associations through maintaining the highest quality standards. APA therefore investigates new members and is selective about the information it provides before warranting their worthiness to the membership.
Certification. Some of APA's associations have developed certification programs for its own members while others have developed certification programs for the industry it serves. In both cases, these programs offer recognized credentials which can help the professional to expand their practice.
