A Five Star Company
IDENTITY
A major reason for becoming a member of an association is to have a greater identity within a professional specialty. APA supports the activities for all of its associations which in most cases are unavailable anywhere else in the niche they serve.

Standards & Ethics. Membership in all associations is subject to continuous peer review. New members must meet exacting standards established by existing members. Furthermore, existing members are subject to continuously meeting the high membership standards established by existing members.

Honors & Recognition. APA has established a unique program entitled "Star Rewards". This program recognizes and rewards these members which have contributed to the association. In addition, some associations maintain their own recognition programs.

Public Awareness. Most associations are unable to develop sufficient resources to establish any type of public awareness. However, Associations managed by APA are able to pool their collective resources to maintain ongoing Public Relations activities. Some associations leverage the resources of APA to further their own PR campaigns.

Common Culture. Professionals typically have large associations which support their profession. APA further supports their culture by bringing together some of the finest professionals in many select specialties.
